They’ve won awards, proclaiming them the best restaurant in Hannibal, Missouri. I have a very limited sample size, but I would completely agree. We had one of the most enjoyable meals of our lives here! Service was friendly with a smile and many patient answers for our many questions. Turns out we love Turkish food. We had only had it once or twice before. LaBinnah Bistro is simply magnificent! We started with the Dolma appetizer. I have a soft spot for grape leaves, and these were outstanding! Definitely top three that I’ve ever had. My wife had the Istanbul shrimp and she loved them. Her boiled potatoes and asparagus were cooked exactly to her liking. I had the Sac Tava, which is Turkish stirfry beef with yellow peppers and tomatoes. I think there was some garlic in it. It was served with the best saffron rice I’ve ever tasted. We were completely spoiled with this Turkish home cooking. SO GOOD! We had a delicious and reasonably priced bottle of wine and the Godiva tall chocolate cake for dessert. It was moist and delicious but not overpoweringly sweet. Look at my photos of the interior of this place it’s just charming and quaint. So lovely. We were visiting from the Kansas City area and we are absolutely enamored with this little restaurant and we will be back as much as possible!!!

LaBinnah was a lovely dining experience, from the time you walk through the door the ambience is not only seen but felt as you are greeted by the friendly staff, hear the music and see all the art on the walls. Akira was a fantastic server and very pleasant to talk to. She recommended the Shrimp Istanbul, the previous owner's grandmother's recipe, and it was delicious. I highly recommend stopping in for a unique and wonderful experience. Update: We went back the next night and the food was even more delicious! The pork chops amd salmon were cooked perfectly!

UPDATE: Was not as good as last time. Chicken had odd texture and best part of my meal was the potatoes. Flew up for anniversary dinner expecting better food. Probably will not return. They sold in 2023 to new owners not sure if the Chief has changed or what. Great hidden gem in Hannibal. Delicious food and great service. It’s hard to find restaurants who still take great pride in what they do. This is one of those restaurants. The food is outstanding. My husband and I was just here for the weekend for my 50th birthday. They picked up on this from a Facebook post and surprised me with a candle in my cheesecake the next night. Yes, the food was that good we ate here the three nights we were in town. My husband dropped his silverware still wrapped up on the floor without a work they brought him another set in minutes. They pay attention to the patrons. They have a warm family comfortable feel and I would highly recommend this restaurant. If we pass through we will be back. Keep up the great work and thank you for the great meal.

We decided to travel to Hannibal for our Anniversary. Perfect dining choice. The food was all wonderful and beautifully plated. My husband said he had the best meal of his life, the Sicilian Pork dish. He’s not even a huge fan of pork or asparagus but he decided he wanted to try something different and he was blown away. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

What a great place for a dinner on their outside patio! We were seated by the owner and she told us about her own favorites from the menu (we asked!). Service was great and they were very attentive. Menu options were also great, hard to choose from so many good options! We had their chicken dish that was served with rice, reminded us of a dish our grandmothers used to make for us; we also had their Argentinian Chimichuri with a pork chop; and, for dessert, we had to have their baklava! Their baklava is home made and had a great taste and consistency as a real baklava should be made! We recommend the bistro and will be back again when we are in the area!

Our first visit, and so glad we found this gem! We had the Santa Fe appetizer (a fresh take on a spinach dip with what to have been fresh bread), lamb chops, and Riviera (salmon with mango salsa), then the Turkish coffee and the most perfect, handmade baklava). Our server, Akira (spelling might be wrong) was wonderful with just the right amount of attention and care.

Three of us visiting from San Antonio went here on 4/15/25 for dinner – Our last day in Hannibal. This little place was the food highlight of our visit. We had the Dolma for an appetizer which was delicious. Neither of my travel mates had had it before. They both loved it. For entrees we had the chicken shish kebab, the Avjar chicken breast, and the African peri-peri chicken. They were all perfect!!! Just amazing. We each got a giant slice of cheesecake afterwards. They were perfect.

My wife and I have been twice now, and this has been the best food around the area. The international food and flavors are amazing, and they do it very well. I got the Havana with salmon, the flavors were amazing but I would get it probably with pork or chicken next time. My wife got the Moroccan shrimp, which might be my favorite food I've had yet. We got cheesecake for dessert, which is always done very well. If you're looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, etc I would highly recommend LaBinnah!
